I am about to travel. How should I manage my eSIM profile before departure?
We recommend purchasing your Ubigi data plan the day before or a few hours prior to your departure to ensure you have internet access as soon as you arrive at your destination.
Note: If you purchased a preloaded eSIM ubigi.com, we advise you to install it the day before or a few hours before departure, while you still have an active internet connection (e.g., Wi-Fi or your local SIM card’s data connection).
If you are traveling by plane Just before activating airplane mode on your device, please follow these steps: – Install your Ubigi eSIM. – Turn off data roaming on your primary line. – Activate airplane mode. When you arrive at your destination, disable airplane mode and make sure your Ubigi line is selected for cellular data.
If you are crossing a land border Before entering your destination country, follow the same steps described above to ensure quick and easy access to your Ubigi connectivity.

All around great eSIM
Instructions were easy to follow and made activating eSIM very easy. During our two weeks (England and Portugal) our data plan was always available and we had plenty of data (10gb) for our vacation. It helped that there was also wi-fi at all our lodgings. Would definitely use again. Worked great and less expensive than all of the better known products.

I was in a bind, but Ubigi came through!
I was given a surprise when my work didn’t provide me international calling, on a recent trip to Holland. As my phone is locked, I had to find an alternate communication method. Ubigi was a perfect choice for an older iPhone 13 that I had. I tested before I got to Holland and when the wheels touched down, my service was flawless. Great value and great service. How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
