INSTALLING UBIGI ON A DUAL SIM iPhone or iPad

HOW TO INSTALL MY UBIGI PROFILE ON AN iPhone® or iPad®

Available on iPhone® 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, XS, XS Max, XR and new generation iPad® Air, Pro, Mini

Update your iOS version: On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to iOS 13.3 or later.

If you already installed Ubigi, and just want to set it up for your trip, click here.

Open your camera app and scan the QR code,
A pop-up will appear at the top of the screen, click on it

Tap on “continue” and “add data plan” in the following screens

Rename the new plan as Ubigi to find it more easily

Select your local carrier as default line (for voice)

Select your local carrier for FaceTime & iMessage,
You’ll be able to use your Ubigi data for iMessage, but as your Ubigi line does not have a phone number you can share, it is not necessary to associate it to your Apple ID

Select Ubigi for Mobile Data
Do not allow Mobile Data Switching – you would risk roaming on your local carrier

You can now create your Ubigi account using ou App, or directly at Ubigi.me!

To do so, make sure to use Ubigi for Mobile Data, and that you’re not using Wi-Fi.
You can switch back to your primary carrier after the account creation is done.
