INSTALLING UBIGI ON A DUAL SIM iPhone or iPad

HOW TO INSTALL MY UBIGI PROFILE ON AN iPhone® XS & XR?

iOS settings

In Settings,
Go to Mobile Data

Click on Add Data Plan

Scan the QR code your received using your iPhone’s camera

You will see a little pop up “Uncertified Cellular Plan”, just click OK.

If you cannot print the QR code, you can flash it on another device’s screen (open the email on a PC, forward it to a friend’s phone…)

Click on Add Data Plan

Here you can also rename this new eSIM profile, we recommend you to rename its label as Ubigi to find it more easily!

Since Ubigi is a data only service,select Use for mobile data only in the line setup menu
For further information on the iPhone’s dual SIM setup, click here

To still be able to receive call from your main carrier, select it as your preferred line

adding the APN in iOS

Now, let’s set the APN. This step is mandatory if you wish to use your device as personal hotspot (tethering)
Go to Settings, then Mobile Data, and select your Ubigi line.
Now go to “Mobile Data Network”

Then, just type “mbb” in the all 4 APN fields: Mobile Data, LTE setup, MMS and Personal Hotspot

Finally, make sure that roaming is allowed

Don’t worry, there are no high roaming charges with us!

Once you have finished this set up, your phone should attach quickly to the network. The name of our local partner carrier will be displayed next to the signal bars.

You can now create your Ubigi account using ou App, or directly at Ubigi.me!

To do so, make sure to use Ubigi for Mobile Data, and that you’re not using Wi-Fi.
You can switch back to your primary carrier after the account creation is done.
