    Worked better than anticipated!
    Honestly worked better than I expected! I was riding motorcycle through remote areas between cities/villages for 8 days and was out of cell service maybe a handful of times! Worked better than the WiFi in the hotels! It was super easy to install — I will use it again next time!

    Many troubles to get convection in Italy, we arrive on October 16, four person conected with Ubigi all of them had problems to get connections during al least the first 3 days, Now after fourth day in Italy we had correct connections.

    Once the system worked it was great
    Once the system worked it was great. But because of a complication with getting my phone replaced since I last used my Ubigi account there was a huge delay of a few hours to operate without an eSim upon landing in my country of visit. I went through the AI chat to trouble shoot, but it required a person to resend the registration email which was what took hours to complete before I could use my eSim. Not an easy task to navigate when you're limited to where you can access free wifi while travelling.

    The service with Ubigi was great
    The service with Ubigi was great! I had only one issue with it. It was very easy to install and the price I paid for two weeks with unlimited service worked well. Texting out of Japan to the US went well, internet connection was great everywhere and fast. The only issue I had was making phone calls to the US. I started making phone calls through WhatsApp afterwards and that worked out. I was in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and the service was excellent there. Even had some connections in subways. The only time my service slowed down was when I was coming back from Mt Fuji and we had to take a different route in the mountains. I had service but it was slow. Other than that, I highly recommend this ESIM for anyone traveling to Japan and visiting the big three places I mentioned.

    4 star because of price Convenient option when roaming internationally. I used in Japan and it worked flawlessly. Except for pricing which is abit on the higher side, the overall experience is great.

    Fairly smooth service and ability to top up when power runs out. The only thing I would suggest is if the choices could give specific examples of how much each data load might offer (e.g., 1gb = daily 2-3 hrs of streaming or video watching, X number of texts or emails, Y hrs of online scrolling for Z days)

    통신사 잠금 해제 여부 확인 방법

    iPhone / iPad:

    설정 > 일반 > 정보로 이동
    통신사 잠금 항목까지 스크롤.
    → “SIM 제한 없음”이 표시되면 기기는 잠금 해제 상태입니다.

    Android:

    설정 > 네트워크 및 인터넷 > 모바일 네트워크
    자동 네트워크 선택을 끄세요.
    → 여러 네트워크가 보이면 잠금 해제된 기기입니다.
