Solid data connection
The connection was solid and reliable. There was a slight issue in the beginning right after activation in Tokyo, Japan (it won't connect to the network) so I had to do some changes to the SIM settings on my phone which may very well be in the setup instructions that I failed to execute. Overall, it worked well! Happy customer here.

Hassle free travel with Ubiji whilst travelling across Japan.
I used Ubigi during my travels across Japan and had a very positive experience. The setup process was quick and easy, which meant I was connected almost immediately after arrival. Throughout my trip, I had reliable connectivity whether I was exploring busy cities like Tokyo and Osaka or travelling between locations on trains. I experienced no issues with signal, speed, or access at any point, which made it simple to use maps, book tickets, and stay in touch with family and friends. Having consistent internet access really enhanced my overall travel experience and gave me peace of mind. Ubigi proved to be a convenient and hassle-free solution, especially compared to the inconvenience of swapping physical SIM cards or relying on public Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Japan who wants a dependable and easy-to-use eSIM option.

Satisfactory service over 30 days but unable to apply instructions as technical terms were not displayed on Android Samsung phone
Overall we were very satisfied with the service provided. It functioned exactly as advertised in Spain, Portugal, England and Belgium except for one day in Spain. I requested assistance from the Help Desk twice and received a reply with instructions from Salma. The agent was very helpful. The eSIM service did not work for one day in Spain and I was advised that it had been deactivated on March 31, 2026. I purchased the service on March 31st and did not use it until April 14th. It functioned properly on the 14th and then did not function on April 15th in Cadiz, Spain. I did not deactivate the service so I do not understand how it became deactivated. I am not tech savvy and do not know or understand technical abbreviations or terms. I tried to follow the instructions provided but did not find any fields on my Android phone Mobile Data /Data Plans that matched the terms in the instructions such as – type the 3 letters mbb in the all 4 APN fields: Mobile Data, LTE setup, MMS and Personal Hotspot I turned on roaming and let my phone search for the service provider. I did have service during our trip except for the one day mentioned so I can only assume that Salma or I corrected whatever error occurred. I mention the incident above as it was frustrating as a non initiated senior trying to comply with and understand the instructions.

iPhone / iPad:

설정 > 일반 > 정보로 이동
통신사 잠금 항목까지 스크롤.
→ “SIM 제한 없음”이 표시되면 기기는 잠금 해제 상태입니다.

Android:

설정 > 네트워크 및 인터넷 > 모바일 네트워크
자동 네트워크 선택을 끄세요.
→ 여러 네트워크가 보이면 잠금 해제된 기기입니다.
