I would rate the cellular data service 3 stars, but thanks to customer service 4 stars!
I would rate the cellular data service 3 out of 5 stars overall. However, the prompt and outstanding response from customer service was remarkable, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars overall. The service in Spain was noticeably better than in Italy. Overall, though, the connection was often laggy and not as fast as I had expected. Hopefully, this will improve as Ubigi expands their partnerships with more reliable mobile networks.

Everything was smooth
Everything was smooth. From the setup to the end of my trip. The instructions given on how to make sure my phone was active when I arrived in Japan was just right. We had no issues getting connected the minute we landed. The service was great all throughout the trip. Mostly 5G some LTE here and there but for the most part fast speeds throughout. I’d recommend Ubigi to anyone traveling to Japan as it’s was very cost effective the we were connected the entire time.

Long time user
I've used Ubigi for a number of years and while occasionally they may not be as cheap as other eSIM options or may not have the exact combination of data + time period I need, they are my go-to for top-notch service, as they always seem to partner with quality service providers in any country they service. I don't think I've ever had a service issue using one of their eSIMs, and it's super handy to just keep the Ubigi eSIM perpetually in my device and just re-activate it as needed when I go overseas as opposed to constantly needing to activate new ones as from other services. I've used Ubigi in multiple countries including Japan, Vietnam, USA, and probably other countries I've forgotten. The only thing that I don't like is that it only charges in USD so I'm stuck with currency conversion and a currency conversion fee, however this is what it is - the process of choosing and paying is simple and easy and I have frequently bought an eSIM just before my flight out, to have this ready to go once I land.

스마트폰 / 태블릿:

*#06# 입력.
→ EID 번호가 나오면 eSIM 지원 기기입니다.

Windows 10 / 11:

Windows+I 를 누르세요.
“네트워크 및 인터넷”으로 이동하세요
→ 셀룰러 네트워크가 보이면 PC가 eSIM을 지원합니다..

통신사 잠금 해제 여부 확인 방법

iPhone / iPad:

설정 > 일반 > 정보로 이동
통신사 잠금 항목까지 스크롤.
→ “SIM 제한 없음”이 표시되면 기기는 잠금 해제 상태입니다.

Android:

설정 > 네트워크 및 인터넷 > 모바일 네트워크
자동 네트워크 선택을 끄세요.
→ 여러 네트워크가 보이면 잠금 해제된 기기입니다.

장바구니에 이미 eSIM이 있습니다.

각 주문에는 하나의 eSIM 데이터 요금제만 포함될 수 있습니다.

새로운 요금제를 추가하면, 기존 요금제는 삭제됩니다. 어떻게 하시겠습니까?
