Yes, thanks to its partners around the world, Ubigi offers 5G connectivity in several countries.

5G is known for its very high speed, ultra-connectivity and low latency.

5G will work with 5G compatible devices. To know if your device is compatible, check its characteristics on manufacturer’s website.

For now , Ubigi 5G is working with:
– All Android 5G devices*
– All Windows 5G devices.
– Apple 5G devices will be able to connect to Ubigi 5G networks from iOS 16 (and any later versions).

💡 Tips for optimizing your 5G connection:
 
5G is x10 faster than what you can get with 4G — It takes less time to transmit the same amount of data. With such a speed, your data plan may run out faster.
Here are some tips to optimize your data usage in 5G:
 
1. Reduce “background” data usage  on your device: 
Your smartphone can consume data even when you are not using it, especially apps that are constantly running updates and scans in the background. Fortunately, you have the ability to limit them to save valuable money.
To reduce background data usage, go to your Android smartphone settings and click on Network & Internet > Data Usage > then Mobile Data Usage.
The idea is the same on iOS smartphones : Go to the «Cellular Data» tab available in the Settings.
 
2. Avoid using speedtests: 
Despite the fact that the speedtest allows you to know how fast the data is transmitted and sent, one speedtest in 5G can easily consume up to 1GB of data in a second.
 
3. Watch your videos in a lower definition:
At average quality, a 30-second video will consume about 3 megabytes of your data envelope. You can pre-configure the quality of videos on Youtube, Spotify or Deezer in order to consume less mobile data.
 
4. Limit the implementation of the updates of your operating system only via Wi-Fi:
To save your data allowance, it is also strongly recommended that you only update your applications and device operating system when your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
 
5. Use a data compressor: 
The latest browsers are equipped with the compression feature that allows you to open a web page first on a cloud service, then compresses it before being sent to you: This allows you to download previously compressed web pages, and therefore much less heavy and data hungry.
