Reception was good in the cities, a little spotty along sea to sky highway (99 between vancouver BC and Whistler, also on the trails, which was expected) Purchase and activation were simple. Cost was reasonable.

Very easy to set up everything in advance so you just need to turn on the e-sim when you get to your destination and it is ready to use instantly. Never had any problem with drop out or reduced speed while using it.

Will definity use for all my travels when available!
More steps to install than some other brands, so took a bit longer. Worked flawlessly during our stay in Tuscany from the US. Other people in our party had cell plans that included travel, and Ubigi worked just as well execpt it is data only so standard calling/texting does not work.

Great overall
Great overall. I’ve used in over 20 countries without issues. Only downside is the countries which now monitor and restrict eSIM usage (other than their own approved ones) like UAE where suddenly the app doesn’t work and your data magically depletes unusually fast. However that’s probably to do with the country rather than the app. With those make sure you have bought the data in advance.

Good bandwidth despite usage
Unlike other providers the bandwidth isn’t reduced after a certain amount is used. And this is very competitively priced for that feature.

I am not very tech savvy and was concerned when I landed abroad that I would not know all the settings to change on my phone. Ubigi made it seamless-I didn't have to do a thing. Never had an issue with coverage in Amsterdam, Cologne, Paris or Dublin!
