Being in a foreign country can be daunting if you don't enjoy being cut off from family and friends. Ubigi supplied a data only eSim to me and it worked ever so well.
On a 1 week stay in Japan I used a little over 1GB to check maps, train times, local attractions, the weather, etc. Nothing data heavy. It worked everytime. There was no drop in service the entire time I needed it.
When I go back I'll be using Ubigi again.

Small glitch to start -Works great now
Works great - now. Have used this before with no issues. This, upon arrival at destination, the e-sim slot was empty, despite having been purchased and activated before we left home. After about 1/2 hour of bot chat - I was connected with a real person who got us up and running. Took about 45 minutes overall (and finding free wi-fi to chat with)
Will use it again for future trips.

I was in Japan for 12 days and stayed in Tokyo, Mount Fuji area and Kyoto and didn’t have any signal issues. My internet was fine and the amount of data I bought (25gb) was more than enough for that amount of days. Overall really happy with this eSIM.

Excellent service
Excellent service, very stable even in locations with poor signal. Didn’t have the opportunity to test the speed but the connection was good enough that I did not think about speed. The setup was really easy. The differentiating factor was having several plans with different duration and capacity. Pretty useful when you are on a budget.
