Mobile data worked well throughout the duration of my trip. High speed looks to be unlimited for 30 GBs of data before you start to get throttled. That was plenty for the 8 days I used it.

Easy to install, configure and use
Easy to install and configure. Straightforward instructions. VOIP calls work great. Texting and whatsapp works fine. Video calls work well as well. Having your personal wifi from Ubigi is seamless, convenient and cost effective than using your full service carrier services while traveling abroad.

Smooth connection in Kansai trip
I used the eSIM for 7 days during my trip in Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. I never experienced any hiccups on the network connection, the network ran smoothly ever since it was activated when my flight landed at Kansai International airport.

Ubigi is by far the easiest and most convenient way to get data in Japan. Their prices are some of the cheapest as well! They provide plenty of instructions and helpful videos online, making the transition from your home country to your destination smooth and stress-free. I also appreciate that they offer service in many countries, which gives me peace of mind. I definitely plan to use them again for our upcoming trip to Europe!
