Kung mayroon kang device na compatible sa eSIM at makatanggap ka ng mensaheng error na ang iyong device ay “locked” para lamang sa ibang provider habang sinusubukan mong i-install ang eSIM profile, kailangan mo muna itong i-“unlock”.
Kapag naka-lock ang device, ibig sabihin maaari mo lamang gamitin ang SIM card/eSIM profile mula sa carrier kung saan mo binili ang device. Para ma-unlock ito, kailangan mo lamang makipag-ugnayan sa carrier na iyon at hilingin na i-unlock ang device (kailangan mo lamang ibigay ang IMEI nito na makikita sa ilalim ng settings).
Pagkatapos noon, awtomatikong ma-unlock ang iyong device, at magagawa mo nang gamitin ang anumang SIM card at anumang eSIM profile dito.

Will definity use for all my travels when available!
More steps to install than some other brands, so took a bit longer. Worked flawlessly during our stay in Tuscany from the US. Other people in our party had cell plans that included travel, and Ubigi worked just as well execpt it is data only so standard calling/texting does not work.

Great overall
Great overall. I’ve used in over 20 countries without issues. Only downside is the countries which now monitor and restrict eSIM usage (other than their own approved ones) like UAE where suddenly the app doesn’t work and your data magically depletes unusually fast. However that’s probably to do with the country rather than the app. With those make sure you have bought the data in advance.

Good bandwidth despite usage
Unlike other providers the bandwidth isn’t reduced after a certain amount is used. And this is very competitively priced for that feature.

I am not very tech savvy and was concerned when I landed abroad that I would not know all the settings to change on my phone. Ubigi made it seamless-I didn't have to do a thing. Never had an issue with coverage in Amsterdam, Cologne, Paris or Dublin!
