Activate your eSIM

Get your QR code for iPhone via email

You will receive your eSIM data plan in the form of a QR code (please allow 15 minutes for receipt of the email and check your SPAM folder before contacting customer service).

Open your camera app and scan the QR code.

If you can’t scan the QR code, view here how to enter the activation code manually.

“Activate eSIM” screen: eSIM installation process is about to start, tap on “Continue” to confirm.

Then again “Add a data plan” to approve the activation of Ubigi eSIM.

Good to know: If your eSIM is preloaded with a data plan, please note that its validity will start at this activation stage.

“Mobile Plan Setup Complete” screen: tap “Done” to finalise the configuration.

“Data Plan Labels” screen:
rename the new data plan as “Ubigi” and tap “Continue”.

It will be easier to find your new data plan when needed.

“Default Line” screen: select “Primary” and tap “Continue”.

So you keep your personal line as the default for calls and text messages.

Ubigi is a data-only service. It does not support traditional voice calls or SMS but allows you to use all your favorite VoIP or Message applications.

“iMessage & FaceTime” screen: select “Primary” and tap “Continue”.

So you keep your personal existing account for iMessage, FaceTime and Apple ID.

Your settings remain the same even when you’re using Ubigi for your data connectivity.

“Mobile Data” screen: select “Ubigi” (or “Secondary“) and tap “Done”.

Congratulations! Your Ubigi eSIM has been successfully installed in your device
