Ubigi allows me to instantly be connected once my plane touched down. The service was great no matter where I went around Japan (I went from Osaka to Tokyo). It was also easy to top up when I used too much data. I first tried it back in 2025 and had to use it again because it was good value of my money and I already had a good experience using the service.

Excellent Coverage Everywhere in Morocco – Even in the Desert!
I activated the eSIM shortly after my plane landed in Morocco, and it worked right away without any issues. I had fast internet and excellent reception throughout my entire trip, even in the Atlas Mountains and the desert. Would definitely buy it again! :)

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
