We used ubigi esim in Japan on a utubers recommendation and it was excellent. We have travelled to Japan over twenty years and never had such a great experience with communication. Going to new zealand in October will definately us it again

Excellent coverage
Excellent coverage, transparent fees and affordable rates, easy to set up. Can even do hotspot. I use them every year when I travel. Highly recommend.

Overall I’ve been really happy with this SIM which was easy to set up and works well. Only thing I’ve marked it down on is there is a fair usage limit of 30gb so just need to be aware of this if using for streaming/tethering etc. To be fair though you don’t get cut off - it just limits speed to 2mb

Reliable and Easy eSIM for Travel
I only heard about Ubigi less than a day before my flight to Japan! A friend highly recommended it, so I decided to switch from the eSIM brand I was originally planning to use and I’m really glad I did.
The setup and navigation were super easy and the signal was really reliable throughout my trip. The only time I had a little trouble with the connection was at DisneySea, which was completely understandable considering there were thousands of people in the park at the same time. Even then, it still worked pretty well.
Overall, I had a great experience with Ubigi and would definitely use it again. Highly recommend it if you’re traveling to Japan!

통신사 잠금 해제 여부 확인 방법
iPhone / iPad:
설정 > 일반 > 정보로 이동 통신사 잠금 항목까지 스크롤. → “SIM 제한 없음”이 표시되면 기기는 잠금 해제 상태입니다.
Android:
설정 > 네트워크 및 인터넷 > 모바일 네트워크 자동 네트워크 선택을 끄세요. → 여러 네트워크가 보이면 잠금 해제된 기기입니다.
