Although I had little difficulty to activate my eSIM after Ianded Japan, I got help from Chat GPT to activate my eSIM. The connection is great, and I will definitely use Ubigi again for my future travels.

Good alternative -- low cost

This was a low cost option without having to change my phone number or get a new one while travelling for three weeks in Ireland/Scotland. Worked exactly as I needed with data. I set up a Viber account to text with my family. I found I had data in many locations in the Highlands of Scotland that I didn't think I would have any bars...so was quite happy with the first try. Will use again...

Landed in japan and had signal right away cheaper than the ones in the airport made a speed test and it over 60mbps more than enough for maps and translation got the unlimited for 8 days
