Works perfectly. I had to adjust some parameters but this is due to a very strict policy of Fairphone. For most users it should be a very smooth experience.

95% of the time 5g connection, would recommend
Constant connection, rarely i had LTE and mostly it was in train or subway. Even at mount Fuji no issues what so ever.
Just had a few issues with the login sometimes. But it was solved fairly easy.
I took the unlimited 30 days (60Gb.) used around 1-2Gb. A day in Japan during my 17 days stay.
Would recommend.

Used it to travel all over Japan including rural and mountainous areas. It never let me down. Great value and very easy to set up. Will use it again when I travel abroad.
