Great service to use when abroad
Great service to use when abroad! We used it in Japan and it was easy to purchase plans based on your stay abroad. We weren't able to use our normal texting or calling service through Verizon, but had internet access so we could use fb calling or messaging anytime. The app also lets you know how much you have left so it was easy to figure when and if you needed to purchase more. We saved a bunch on our phone bill too. Will definitely be using Ubigi for our next Japan trip.

Simple and seamless
My Ubigi e Sim worked perfectly and would use this again for future trips. The e Sim worked as soon as the plane landed and we got into the terminal. I had great reception throughout my trip and it was very easy to install.

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:

Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!

Laptops (Windows 10/11):

Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!

Check Carrier Unlock

On iOS:

Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!

On Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
