Very easy to sign up and set up eSIM for data in Spain along with SIM card from US. I was able to access cell data in Spain and no issue accessing WhatsApp to call and txt my wife and relatives in Spain.

Great experience!
It was so easy to use Ubigi eSIM. I had no issues at all. I used it in Japan and Korea. Great value! I appreciate the dashboard to show how much data I used so far and they sent a warning when I was soon reaching my limit.

Worked good for the most part
I was disappointed that I couldn’t make phone calls while travelling. The data worked well for the most part. I was happy to be able to use it. There were times when it didn’t work.

This app is easy to use
This app is easy to use. No issues so far. Remote locations are a little difficult connection but no different than a typical cell service. General web use, email, and other messaging sevices and internet voice services work as well. I only got 10 Gb but only used 20% of my data so far (10 days). Need more if you want to steam a lot.

This saved my life and wallet
This saved my life. Never disconnected, and I only got to use 6gb out of the 25gb. I was always connected to Google Maps and was talking to people on WhatsApp, Viber and Messenger. Was even able to do Video Calls a lot. I would definitely buy it again when I visit Europe again (I am from Asia). Hassle free.

I would rate the cellular data service 3 stars, but thanks to customer service 4 stars!
I would rate the cellular data service 3 out of 5 stars overall. However, the prompt and outstanding response from customer service was remarkable, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars overall.
The service in Spain was noticeably better than in Italy. Overall, though, the connection was often laggy and not as fast as I had expected. Hopefully, this will improve as Ubigi expands their partnerships with more reliable mobile networks.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
