Discover how to install your Ubigi eSIM on your laptop in few steps!

Start by checking if your device is eSIM compatible

Open your flyout (bottom-right corner), if Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM

Install a Ubigi eSIM on your laptop via the Mobile Plans app

Get your eSIM profile

Open the network flyout, click on Connect with eSIM to display the Mobile plan app and select Ubigi

Install your eSIM

Fill in the form to get started. The process will take few minutes. Once it's complete, your eSIM will be ready

Purchase a data plan

Visit Ubigi.me to sign up and purchase your first data plan​

Here are some laptop setups you need to remember to do

Prior to departure

Install your eSIM and make sure to disconnect from Cellular Data.

Upon arrival

Switch on your Cellular Data to enable your eSIM to connect at destination.

Back home

Switch off your Cellular Data and restore usual settings.

Ubigi eSIM data plans work on eSIM-enabled and network unlocked devices.

To check if your device is eSIM compatible, follow these steps:​

Dial *#06#. If you have an EID code on the screen, your phone is eSIM compatible.

To check if your iPhone/iPad is locked or unlocked by your provider, follow these steps:​

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select General.
  • Choose About/Information.
  • Scroll down to Network provider lock/Carrier lock. You will see either "No SIM restrictions" or "SIM restricted" in this field. Check here what to do if you have "SIM restricted".

To check if your Android device is locked or unlocked, please contact your original carrier. (You can also test using a different carrier in your home country, which is usually not possible with a SIM-locked device)
