Good experience! A few feedback...
I put 4 stars because my experience is good ! That's what it has always meant ! However it is not perfect, as I had to go into the deep settings of the SIM to get it to work in Japan the first time I went. For this, I had to find WiFi and look up the website for ways to solve the issue. I feel like this kind of help setting the card should be accessible directly on the app, including offline. Since then however, no problem. I would also like it if Ubigi was a bit better at warning you when you're almost at the end of your data and not just at the very, very end.

Service worked when I landed in Japan. Was simple to set up. Was decent speed, as I was able to use my navigation apps and multiple mobile games that I play in Japan. Had a good experience using this. Will probably use again for future trips.

How to check if a device is ready for eSIM?
Check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones & Cellular Tablets:

Dial (*#06#). If an EID number shows, your device supports eSIM!

Laptops (Windows 10/11):

Open your flyout (bottom-right corner). If Cellular settings are visible, your laptop supports eSIM!

Check Carrier Unlock

On iOS:

Go to Settings > General > About, scroll to Carrier Lock. If it says "No SIM restrictions", your device is unlocked!

On Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, turn off Auto network selection. If you see multiple available networks, your device is unlocked! If only one appears, or you get an error, it may be locked.
