The esim was easy to install on my iPhone and the monthly fee is affordable. Customer service is great.

Great speed and coverage
As a first time traveller to Japan and a keen photographer, I needed a eSIM which was easy to use;wide coverage and importantly, plenty of data allowance (I went for unlimited) to allow for backing my photos up to cloud. Ubigi delivered on all counts

3G in Nouakchott Mauritania
We had only 3G in Nouakchott - Mauritania, which is fine for sending some photos and text messages. For serious data transfer or connecting with VPN networks, the speed was too slow.

Extremely cost‑effective service with…
Extremely cost‑effective service with an e‑SIM that is easy to install (note that as opposite to some of its competitors you get new eSIM per country - but that's not an issue for me).
Ubigi was one of the first players in this field, and while the market today is full of companies offering travel eSIMs (and I use a few of them), there have been only few cases in which Ubigi did not offer the best deal.
Coverage in many off‑beaten‑track areas is very good: if Ubigi cannot connect, it pretty much always means that there is no any network and my current telco SIM (despite the high cost of data roaming) will not connect either.
The only issue I have faced is running out of credit and not being able to buy an extra package until I was on WiFi. However, during my recent travels I believe I was able to purchase an additional package over the mobile network even after my Ubigi data had been exhausted.
