    Ubiji saved us on our international travels this summer! My husband had changed to a mobile provider that does not work abroad, and we visited five countries in five weeks this summer. Once we found Ubiji during our visit to Japan, the rest was smooth sailing. Super affordable rates compared to other companies, and it has coverage in most areas, even many more rural areas where local mobile operators have hard time. Once you stole the app and get set up, it is as easy as 2 clicks to purchase coverage for a new countries and locations. We went to Japan, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, and Bulgaria, and Ubiji worked beautifully and all the locations - with many gigabytes of data for rates of less than $10/week

    How to check eSIM compatibility

    Smartphones / Tablets:

    Dial *#06#.
    → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

    Windows 10 / 11:

    Press Windows+I.
    Go to “Network & Internet”
    → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

    How to check carrier unlocking

    iPhone / iPad:

    Go to Settings > General > About.
    Scroll to Carrier Lock.
    → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

    Android:

    Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
    Disable Automatic network selection.
    → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
