The Ubigi eSIM is a great solution
The Ubigi eSIM was a great solution for my trip to Marrakech. It was the most cost effective option with great coverage throughout the holiday. I was able to share data with friends when needed and connect to family back at home with ease. I bought the 7 day unlimited eSIM for the S25 Ultra and would definitely do the same again. It was so convenient.

Easy to install, set up and use. I purchased the regional (Asia) plan for 15-days. I arrived in Japan and as promised, easily had data coverage. Then off to South Korea after a week and had no issues. Speeds were super good and reliable.

Works flawlessly
Works as intended. Wasn't necessarily getting 5G speeds everywhere but the connection was fast enough for most everything including streaming. Great service and coverage in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka. Using an Android.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
