Philippines Data Plan 10GB
This time I used a data plan from the Philippines. The connection started immediately upon landing at the airport, which was very convenient. Needed an eSim to use in America as I live in the UK searched online and found Ubigi. So glad I did. 10gig of data super cheap.got it on my phone in minutes and it worked perfectly all week on my holiday. Loads of data left at the end so I would recommend to anybody who needs an eSim for a holiday. I will definately be using Ubigi again !!

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
