    I’ve now used Ubigi for two separate trips to Japan, and both experiences have been excellent. Setup was incredibly straightforward. I purchased the eSIM before my trip, activated it in just a few minutes, and had data almost immediately after landing. No hunting for SIM cards at the airport, no swapping physical SIMs, and no surprises. Coverage throughout Japan was consistently reliable, with fast data whether I was navigating Tokyo, riding the Shinkansen, or exploring smaller areas. It made using Google Maps, translation apps, and messaging completely stress-free. After two trips with zero issues, Ubigi has become my go-to travel eSIM.     How to check eSIM compatibility

    Smartphones / Tablets:

    Dial *#06#.
    → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

    Windows 10 / 11:

    Press Windows+I.
    Go to “Network & Internet”
    → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

    How to check carrier unlocking

    iPhone / iPad:

    Go to Settings > General > About.
    Scroll to Carrier Lock.
    → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

    Android:

    Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
    Disable Automatic network selection.
    → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

    You already have an eSIM in your cart.
