    Well-run service but doesn't work well with Pixel phone
    I used the service in London. The signup process was easy, setup was straightforward, and the app worked well. I have a Pixel 10XL Pro, and unfortunately the way this service worked, my phone constantly dropped connections. Numerous restarts of network and the phone, forcing the phone to 4G, forcing a specific network selection, and other steps didn't help. A network trace showed that traffic is routed to their servers in France before going to the open Internet, so the extra latency was causing my phone problems. Support gave a fast but generic response that wasn't helpful. If I was in France, then I might try them again given the good price and easy setup. But, for my phone in the UK, it wasn't worth it.

    How to check eSIM compatibility

    Smartphones / Tablets:

    Dial *#06#.
    → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

    Windows 10 / 11:

    Press Windows+I.
    Go to “Network & Internet”
    → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

    How to check carrier unlocking

    iPhone / iPad:

    Go to Settings > General > About.
    Scroll to Carrier Lock.
    → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

    Android:

    Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
    Disable Automatic network selection.
    → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
