After serious frustration setting this…
After serious frustration setting this up, nowhere did Ubigi show up in my set up, we established a connection. Missed a day thinking we were connected to our home travel rate. Went ahead and tried it anyway and it finally showed up. Would not let me us my face setup initially either which worried me further. Better now and great in data usage. Not using as much as i anticipated. Shows up in my locked screen now to confirm I’m using it yea.

I was in Spain and i knew in that trip…
I was in Spain and i knew in that trip i would be needing use a only roaming data for internet and a quick search led me to Ubigi's site and they had the Esim data deal X many GB for 30 days (not for calls) that was perfect for me because i just needed a data for a bit. Easy set up and set my phone to use Ubigi's esim for data roaming and that was all. Quick cheap and simple

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
