    Worked great for 2 weeks in Japan!
    Easy to set up and worked perfectly for both me and my husband throughout our 2 weeks in Japan! Will absolutely use Ubigi on our next international trip. It is a fraction of the cost of a daily international travel pass or plan from my domestic carrier ($12 per line per day!). I will say I felt the step of turning off your primary SIM when activating the eSIM was missing from the instructions. While I was getting it set up and figuring it out when we landed in Japan, I received a "Welcome to Japan" text that I get when my domestic carrier "travel pass" has activated for the day. I was charged $12 for those few minutes, which isn't a big deal. But if you're getting this to avoid those steep fees, that's something to be aware of!

    How to check eSIM compatibility

    Smartphones / Tablets:

    Dial *#06#.
    → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

    Windows 10 / 11:

    Press Windows+I.
    Go to “Network & Internet”
    → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

    How to check carrier unlocking

    iPhone / iPad:

    Go to Settings > General > About.
    Scroll to Carrier Lock.
    → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

    Android:

    Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
    Disable Automatic network selection.
    → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
