These creative design choices make attendees feel as though they’ve stepped into a fantasy world for a weekend, something that many consider a must-do experience for avid music lovers.

Local editions adapt to regional cultures and environments while maintaining Tomorrowland’s core identity.

When and Where?

When and Where does Tomorroxland take place?

Tomorrowland Belgium takes place annually at the end of July in De Schorre recreational area in Boom. The festival is typically held over two consecutive Friday-to-Sunday event periods, allowing more attendees to experience the event.

The festival initially ran as a single day, expanded to two days by 2007 (28–29 July), then three days in 2011 (22–24 July) after which point multi-day formats have been used. In 2017, the festival adopted its now-familiar two-weekend format. Note an important local disruption: a fire on July 16, 2025, occurred two days before the July 18 start in Boom, affecting preparations.

Key dates and events:

  • Tomorrowland Belgium takes place in late July over two consecutive weekends with a typical Friday to Sunday schedule.
  • 2007: first two-day festival on 28–29 July.
  • 2009: festival held 25–26 July.

Tomorrowland operates global editions and spin-offs. Tomorrowland Winter takes place in the French Alps, combining electronic music with a ski-resort setting and a different travel experience.

The festival has explored expansion into Asian markets through partnerships and regional events. TomorrowWorld brought the concept to the United States in 2013 near Atlanta. Brasil started in 2015. Each spinoff has its own local venues, dates, and ticket rules, so lineups and on-site services differ.

Stay connected in Tomorrowland

Stay connected during your festivals with Ubigi eSIM data plans

Tech troubles are a common mistake to avoid at festivals like Tomorrowland. Relying on patchy venue Wi-Fi or draining your battery with roaming can leave you without access to essential info, like the lineup, maps, or messages from friends. Reliable connectivity is key for navigating stages, finding food stalls, and staying in touch.

Securing a Ubigi eSIM data plan is one of the smartest moves. This ensures your phone stays connected for maps, group chats, and event updates, even in large crowds. Without a solid data plan, you risk getting lost, missing important updates, or being unable to contact your group—especially stressful in emergencies.

A dependable data connection also lets you check weather changes, look up local regulations, and avoid costly mistakes like missing transit connections. You’ll also get real-time alerts, safety info, and tips on the best local vendors or deals, making your festival experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Ubigi offers data plans in every country where a Tomorrowland event takes place.

Reliable and Easy-to-Use eSIM for Japan Travel
I recently used a Ubigi eSIM during my trip to Japan and overall had a very positive experience. The app is extremely simple and straightforward, making activation quick and stress‑free. Once set up, I had mobile data for the majority of my trip without needing to fiddle with settings or restart my phone. The range of time‑based plans was really convenient, and the pricing was very competitive compared to other travel eSIM options and roaming charges. The only downside was that the connection occasionally dropped out — not just in remote or mountainous areas, but sometimes even in major cities and towns. It wasn’t constant, but it was noticeable at times. Despite that, I was happy with the service and would definitely use Ubigi again for future overseas travel.

Fantastic, except for one thing that I'm not sure is their fault
Everything was easy to set up, and worked perfectly for what I needed except for one thing. When setting up the second eSim, I could not text or call certain people. For some people it worked fine, for others, text and call did not work at all. And when i tried to manually set text and call to my normal provider and data to Ubigi, it would not save on my phone. I do not know if that's a problem with my phone, my original provider, or Ubigi. But it caused a small amount of problems during my trip.
