I was really apprehensive that how data sim would work in Russia as I was visiting that country first time and I was told that getting a local Sim for visitors is not possible these days in Russia. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ubigi esim started working as soon as I landed in Russia. As per local protocols, for 24 hours it had limited speed but then it worked really well. I highly recommend Ubigi for all travellers who want to travel with complete peace of mind and want to stay connected as well.

Happy 1st time eSIM user
This was the first time I had ever used an eSIM in a foreign country so I was unsure of the procedure. However, my fears were all unfounded. Setting it up was so easy and, having used an Ubigi eSIM for 10 days in Vietnam and always having a good signal with 4G data, I will certainly use one again.

Excellent coverage in Japan during a 14 day vacation. Integrated well in all areas including subway train stations. One thing is to make sure to clearly be using the UBIGI eSIM vs the current iPhone company for roaming. I found that a little confusing because apparently you can end up using both.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.

Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
