Ubigi VS BetterRoaming

With Ubigi, you have more eSIM data plans with Ubigi: one-off top ups — ideal for travellers — and recurring subscriptions for regular users, while BetterRoaming’s plans are one-off only. Furthermore you can get data plans for eSIM compatible Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops (and soon Windows 11) with a list of laptop models with Ubigi pre-installed. BetterRoaming eSIM does not work with Windows 10 (hence laptops), but it does on Apple Watch unlike Ubigi.

Generally good and easy to use

Generally good and easy to use - but for me it didnt work in Slovakia (Bratislava) even though the region should be covered with the plan (Europe). I tried everything, from switching to airplane mode and restarting my phone, but it didnt register. Luckily I was there for only five hours, and it started working again in Hungary.

I trust Ubigi to work when I get to my destination. The plans are affordable and a good value. On a recent trip, my wife was using a competitors ESIM and it did not connect on 2 of the islands we visited where my Ubigi did.
