I had experienced a long and unsuccessful esim setup process with another company and finally gave up on them to opt for Ubigi - the provider my wife uses. It only took 10 minutes and I was up and running. The e-sim was slightly cheaper and I think the usage information Ubigi has it better than the other provider.

Reliable and excellent

As soon as i landed in japan with data roaming for the eSIM card and turned on the line it worked straight away and was good to have internet at all times

Works pretty well all day

Works pretty well all day, can give slight hotspot to mates, just doesn’t work if ur in the country side of where ur staying like I did excursions and the data did not work when I got deep into the country village side
