For the most part I had good reception in the places I was at. It was a little spottier at Tokyo Disney Resort but was pretty strong in Tokyo City. But with all that said the installation of the eSIM and activation of the service was incredibly smooth. Would use the service again and would recommend to others.

4.5 stars. This service is great! No complaints, I can do just about everything. The only slight inconvenience is I don’t have an actual phone number, so I can’t log into new apps that need to send an SMS code (like GO taxi). However, if u do this before u leave ur home country, this service is 5/5!

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
