First, check if the Ubigi eSIM profile is installed on your iPhone

Go to: settings > mobile data > under data plans: installed eSIM profile will appear as “Secondary” (or the name you renamed it).

If your eSIM profile is already installed, go to step 2.

If no eSIM is installed yet, go to Get started and follow instructions for your device.

If you deleted your eSIM profil, please follow instructions on this link.

Works pretty good
Working pretty well had just few times that it had some issues. But altogether so far have been quite smooth sailing with this internet service. Funny that it works so well when we stayed in Okinawa but the connection issues what I have experienced have been in Tokyo. Just short issue not anything major. So altogether great service.

Good Experience
I have had a wonderful experience by now (it's been almost 2 weeks), especially after I had no connection for some hours, but they understood/recognized/apologized about it, and sent a small gift in return. I cannot know about future, but right now I go for 5 stars :)

Disappointed
We purchased a data plan for Europe for my iPhone 11. When we arrived in Amsterdam we could not connect to the eSIM following instructions on an email from Ubigi. After many emails from technical support we still could not connect the Ubigi eSIM. We are very disappointed that we could not make use of the eSIM that we purchased.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.

Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
