Excellent eSIM experience in Japan!
It was super easy to purchase the eSIM before arriving in Japan, and the setup instructions were very clear and easy to follow. As soon as we landed, everything was working perfectly, and we never experienced any connectivity issues throughout our entire trip.
The internet speed was great, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of data we used. I never had to worry about limiting my internet usage or saving data at any point during the trip.
Overall, a fantastic experience! I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Japan.

Switch to 2nd eSIM before flying out of USA!
I didn’t know to switch to the 2nd eSIM before turning my phone off in the US. When I turned it back on in Japan, Verizon immediately charged me $12 for a travel pass day before I switched to the Ubigi sim.

통신사 잠금 해제 여부 확인 방법
iPhone / iPad:
설정 > 일반 > 정보로 이동 통신사 잠금 항목까지 스크롤. → “SIM 제한 없음”이 표시되면 기기는 잠금 해제 상태입니다.
Android:
설정 > 네트워크 및 인터넷 > 모바일 네트워크 자동 네트워크 선택을 끄세요. → 여러 네트워크가 보이면 잠금 해제된 기기입니다.
