Generally good and easy to use
Generally good and easy to use - but for me it didnt work in Slovakia (Bratislava) even though the region should be covered with the plan (Europe). I tried everything, from switching to airplane mode and restarting my phone, but it didnt register. Luckily I was there for only five hours, and it started working again in Hungary.

I trust Ubigi to work when I get to my destination. The plans are affordable and a good value. On a recent trip, my wife was using a competitors ESIM and it did not connect on 2 of the islands we visited where my Ubigi did.

Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
