As easy as advertised! Signed up before I left the US, turned it on on the airplane and it clicked right into gear when I got to Japan. My cell service and bill, was never touched. Peace of Mind with Ubigi
I was very happy enrolling with Ubigi for my first time (and it definitely won't be my last). The network was very reliable and the speeds were consistently high, almost felt like a "roam-like-home" experience. I took the unlimited plan for peace of mind but did not even end up using over 20 GB in the span of two weeks, their metering system seems pretty favorable as well.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
