What is an eSIM profile ?

An eSIM profile is the software that you must download to your eSIM-enabled device to access the carrier’s mobile network. It is different from a conventional SIM card that is a physical card inserted into a device and that is removable.

To install the eSIM profile on your device’s embedded eSIM, carriers usually provide one of the following options:

– A QR code (or activation code) that you scan with your device for automatic installation

– Automatic installation of the eSIM profile, either:
> via the carrier’s app, or
> through a deeplink provided by your eSIM carrier

Seamless internet service…

I have had seamless internet service across Spain, Amsterdam and London. Setup was easy but required assistance from customer service. Customer service responded within minutes by email. So better to activate the service where Wifi is available.

good almost better than other e sims

Ubigi works great in Japan

At first, I was not able to add the plan on to my Samsung Galaxy flip 5 phone which concerned me. I emailed Ubigi and they answered quickly. I then was able to add the plan I purchased. My phone has been working perfectly since then with the 25gb plan and able to find restaurants, train, shopping, directions with maps, etc. This is the way to go when in Japan!
