– VAIO Series 11 – VAIO Series 13 – VAIO Pro PF – VAIO Pro PG
Many of the latest VAIO devices are eSIM compatible devices. An eSIM (embedded subscriber identity module) is a small electronic chip embedded in your phone or device that performs the same function as physical SIM cards. The eSIM is the equivalent of a virtual SIM card.
Rather than using a “tool” to remove/insert a physical SIM card and risk losing or damaging it, an eSIM-enabled device can be programmed and reprogrammed automatically by downloading the eSIM profile from an operator via an app or a QR code.
An eSIM a is multi-carrier, it can hold up to five virtual SIM cards at a time and you just need to switch between plans in your mobile device settings.
VAIO models equipped with an eSIM allow you therefore to activate an additional cellular data plan, which you can use locally or internationally, without the need to look for a physical SIM card.
Ubigi allows you to get and install a free eSIM profile on your VAIO device. Using an operator like Ubigi, which connects to the local mobile network abroad in over 190 destinations, can be much more economical than paying your usual operator’s roaming charges when you use your Internet connection abroad for leisure or work.

Reliable Global eSIM for Travelers (Japan)
Went to Japan (i.e, Fukuoka, Yufuin, Beppu, Onomichi, Imabari, Matsuyama, Hiroshima, Kansai and Kanto area). Overall, it delivers on convenience and coverage, making it a dependable choice for Japan trips (can't comment on different countries yet).
Easy setup: Activation is straightforward. Scan a QR code, install the eSIM, and you’re online within minutes.
Stable performance: In most locations, data speeds are reliable for navigation, messaging, browsing, and even video calls.

Seamless Ubigi eSIM Experience
I was using Ubigi for the first time. This eSIM was really easy to install and to use during my stay in Japan. This was such a breeze compared to another eSIM option I have used in the past. I will certainly use Ubigi again during my upcoming travel to Europe.

Connection is slow half of the times
Connection is slow half of the times, this is somehow different than last time I used Ubigi. The only difference is I got the unlimited package this time vs. 10GB last time. My wife uses 10GB without any issues either. If you are throttling the speed of the unlimited package, what's the point of paying more to get less?

Most reliable esim
I used Ubigi eSIM for the first time while I was traveling in Japan (Tokyo and Osaka) recently. It was very easy to install and amazingly it worked so well throughout my journey without any connection issue at all. I am thinking of using it again soon in my next travel destination.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
