How to change the label of my eSIM profile on Android ?

We recommend adding a label to your eSIM profiles to make sure you don’t confuse it with your primary SIM card or other eSIM profile installed on your Android device.

To change your eSIM profile label on your Android phone/tablet:
– Go to Settings
– Choose Connections
– Then go to SIM card Manager
– Tap the eSIM profile whose label you want to change
– Modify the label and save

Ubigi was easy all round
Ubigi was easy to set up. I did it at the airport. It worked without fail in Bali. 10gb lasted the whole holiday. I will use Ubigi when I next travel. Way better and cheaper than getting a local SIM card.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.

Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
