Apply data to eSIM profile
Ensure data is applied to your Ubigi eSIM profile.
Check APN configuration
Ensure that the APN is correctly set for your Ubigi connectivty.
Check network display
Check the network status for your Ubigi connectivity.
Final checks!
Check account creation and Internet access.
First, turn ON “flight mode” for 5 secondes and turn it OFF. This action will refresh the network connection from your device.
NB: to access flight mode button, display the shortcuts page by sliding from the top of your screen to the bottom.
Once flight mode off, you will normally see 1 or 2 networks appear:
The network with the 4G/5G at the front is always the eSIM/SIM card you applied data to: If you followed carefully all previous instructions, this network should be your Ubigi eSIM network.
NB: to access flight mode button, display the shortcuts page by sliding from the top of your screen to the bottom.
Let’s focus on the network signal with the 4G/5G icon at the front which represents your Ubigi eSIM/Ubigi cellular connectivity:
– If you have between 1 to full signal bars, it means that you are connected to the network. That’s great! You can now go to the next step.
– If all signal bars are greyed out, please follow these instructions to select a network manually. Once you have 1 to full signal bars displayed, you can go to the next step.
NB: In case you still have no network bars displayed even after the manual selection, please contact our Customer Support for further help and provide the ICCID of your eSIM profile.

seamless connection off the plane
Super seamless, got connected right off the plane. Used 10g between two people over 8 days pretty freely without having to worry about running out. I did find that the signal was poor in some areas of Uji, but other than that it was pretty reliable, even underground.

Works very well
Works very well, didn't give a 5 because I would have appreciated being able to choose the number of days : I was staying 4 days but only had choice between 1, 3 or 7.
If you could make the lenght more personalizable it would be great

You won't have to read instructions or guides online.
I don't like reading instructions. Using this SIM card was so simple and clear that I didn't have to read anything.

The most affordable pocket Wi-Fi on the market
We signed up with the Ubigi app for our current Japan land tour. We are thoroughly pleased with the service that Ubigi provides! My husband got a 15-day, 5g plan for only $10. He gave me a 20% referral discount for my purchase. I paid $8 for a 15-day, 5g plan. Combined, we paid only $18. Other carriers charge $10 per day. That plan would have cost us $130 vs $10. I text with my daughter in Hawsii daily. All text messages are delivered with absolutely no problem at all. We use Google Translate to translate from Japanese to English. It works like a charm! Thank you Ubigi for the excellent service that you provide and for keeping the cost low for the consumer! I am a “Happy Camper “ and then some!🥹❤️

How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
