How to enable tethering (data sharing) and turn your Motorola smartphone to a personal Wi-Fi hotspot?

To enable tethering on your Motorola:

Navigate to Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering. Here, you can select to share a connection via Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth.

For a Wi-Fi connection, tap Wi-Fi hotspot and toggle it on. The hotspot name will be displayed on this screen. Tap Advanced > Hotspot password for the password.

Resolved eSIM issue with an agent
Upon arrival at destination, I had technical issue with my eSIM and could not connect. I emailed customer support and immediately received AI instructions at first but was later able to get assistance from an agent. The agent sent me a QR code to reinstall my eSIM profile and It finally worked. Highly recommend this app for travelers.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.

Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
