How do I install my Ubigi eSIM profile on iPhone (iOS 17.4 or later) with the QR code diplayed on my screen?
Installing an eSIM profile on an iPhone running iOS 17.4 or later has never been easier. A new feature allows you to install the eSIM profile simply by pressing and holding the QR code displayed on your screen:
– First check that your iPhone supports eSIM here – Update your iPhone to iOS 17.4 or later via Settings > General > Software Update if needed
Then, open the email containing your Ubigi eSIM QR code on your iPhone: – Ensure the QR code is clearly visible on the screen – Press and hold your finger on the QR code displayed on your screen until a pop-up appears – Select “Add eSIM” and follow the prompts to complete the installation of your Ubigi eSIM profile
Once installed,click on the “Sign up” button on the email, create your account and your connectivity will be ready to use immediately.
You can now enjoy your Ubigi Connectivity wherever you go!

Using Ubigi on our recent trip to Japan was SO helpful! The app was easy to download, the instructions for activation were very well-written, and the WiFi worked great on our trip. We traveled around Tokyo, Kyoto, and several stops in-between, and never had any coverage issues.

Great eSIM option with great customer service
Once the Ubigi app is installed on the phone, it sets up an eSIM that gets re-used when/wherever you buy a new roaming package from them. No need to scan a QR code or go through other steps of installing an eSIM at each new destination.
When we accidentally bought an extra package from Ubigi, it was easy to contact them and get a refund.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
