I have used Ubigi twice in Japan
I have used Ubigi twice in Japan and it was an easy process both times. I lost service once on a tall remote mountain where another tour buddy on a different service still had signal, but overall I am very happy with the Ubigi eSIM

It was as easy as advertised
It was as easy as advertised, i installed it before i left USA. Arrived in Korea, turned it on, BAM, 5G LTE all day.. Arrived in Vietnam, same thing, it worked right away and was LTE speeds. I noticed Tmobile (with the International plan) was mostly 5g, not LTE.

How to check eSIM compatibility

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.
