I am about to travel. How should I manage my eSIM profile before departure?
We recommend purchasing your Ubigi data plan the day before or a few hours prior to your departure to ensure you have internet access as soon as you arrive at your destination.
Note: If you purchased a preloaded eSIM ubigi.com, we advise you to install it the day before or a few hours before departure, while you still have an active internet connection (e.g., Wi-Fi or your local SIM card’s data connection).
If you are traveling by plane Just before activating airplane mode on your device, please follow these steps: – Install your Ubigi eSIM. – Turn off data roaming on your primary line. – Activate airplane mode. When you arrive at your destination, disable airplane mode and make sure your Ubigi line is selected for cellular data.
If you are crossing a land border Before entering your destination country, follow the same steps described above to ensure quick and easy access to your Ubigi connectivity.

I had a problem to start my service
I had a problem to start my service. I tried everything they wrote on the Ubigi website, but nothing helped. After more than two hours of no success, my husband gave me the idea to "restart my phone". As I did that, everything was smooth and no problem.
Perhaps there will be someone that had a same problem as I did? Maybe it will help other people when this option is also mentioned on the website?

Having an option for monthly plans past 5gb would be helpful. As of now, 5gb for one month may not be enough and individual top up would be expensive.

Great connectivity and ease of installation
1. It is very to install the e-sim and it works as soon as you arrive.
2. We traveled for 14 days in India and we had pretty good connections all the time, except in a few areas such as the Sariska tiger reserve where no connection was possible for any providers.
3. I had unlimited data for the duration of my stay and it was perfect as I had to upload/download very heavy files.

I had issues setting it up on Nothing…
I had issues setting it up on Nothing (3) phone. There was no Chinese Telecom network available on manual network selection, and automatic network selection did not work. I got no useful support from ubigi. I noticed that once connected, the signal bars disappear after a few seconds, followed by no network. I managed to connect by turning ESiM off then on, and quicky switching off the automatic network selection before the signal bars disappeared. Once that was done, everything worked great!

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
