You cannot buy a Monthly plan when purchasing an eSIM profile with a preloaded data plan from the website as you have no Ubigi account yet. A Monthly plan requires a credit card to be registered in your Ubigi account for the payment of its monthly fee.

For the purchase of your eSIM profile with a preloaded data plan, you can choose a One-Off data plan listed on this page our website. Once you have installed your Ubigi eSIM profile and created your account, you will be able to recharge your account at anytime with One-Off plans but also Monthly plans and Annual plans.”

Was a rocky start
Was a rocky start and didn't have reliable data for the first few hours but since then it's been no problem. My partner however had issues up front. Both issues are resolved but wasn't a good experience for us, leading to safety concerns not having internet while out and about.

It couldn't have been easier to use
It couldn't have been easier to purchase and then run the Ubigi eSIM on my iphone. Once downloaded, I landed in Japan, turned on the setting and it worked like a charm. There was no lag, I probably had better connectivity using Ubigi than the data I get while in my home country! Would highly recommend it to anybody looking for international sim plans.

Smartphones / Tablets:

Dial *#06#.
→ If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.

Windows 10 / 11:

Press Windows+I.
Go to “Network & Internet”
→ If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.

How to check carrier unlocking

iPhone / iPad:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Scroll to Carrier Lock.
→ If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.

Android:

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.
Disable Automatic network selection.
→ If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.

You already have an eSIM in your cart.

Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
