Ubigi worked great the topping up process is confusing
The Ubigi Esimm was easy to install and worked great! 5G service over most of Sicily during our visit. The topping up process to add more data was a bit confusing as your current account doesn’t really get added to, instead you have to switch to another purchase when you exceed the original data limits.

I purchased the Ubigi Esim prior to my trip to Morocco based on positive reviews. The 10 GB data plan for 30 days was competitively priced. Ubigi app download and sign-up was a breeze. The data plan was activated as soon as I landed in Morocco.

Overall good but needs improved coverage
Coverage not that good in some areas, especially basements of dept stores, unable to use apps like Maps and Translate. Had to switch to my main carrier data roaming which works fine in basements

Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
