Ubigi proved to be a top-tier choice for my trip to Japan. I tested it in Fukuoka and Hiroshima, and the coverage was excellent everywhere, even while traveling on trains, at underground stations, and throughout tunnels. Connection speeds were consistently fast, and all websites and apps loaded without any delays.
The installation process is extremely simple and user-friendly. The app guides you seamlessly through the entire setup, the eSIM is added automatically, and it connected to the network immediately upon landing at the airport. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy internet solution in Japan!

Would recommend!
The eSIM was easy to purchase and activate on my phone without any issues, which I did prior to my flight. Once I was at my destination country, I turned it on and had very minimal issues with my internet connection during my stay. I felt the speed was faster than other providers when compared to friends that purchased from another company. I would often be able to look something up online while friends waited for their sites to load. Having the app also helped with seeing how much data was being used. Would recommend!

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
