Quick and easy. Worth the money.
Quick, easy and by applying discount codes the cheapest I could find for our Japan trip. Had great connection in almost all places, the country side is a little difficult. But changing provider wont help there. ☺️

Ubigis connections was reliable in…
Ubigis connections was reliable in Tokyo annd Kyoto and the 5G speed was solid. However, I would add that the Data usage was higher than when I was using my ordinary cellular network, T-Mobile. So 3 GB was used in about 36 hours when on T-Mobile it took 5 days to use 3 GB.

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
