The Sony Xperia 10 VI smartphone is equipped with an eSIM.
Thanks to the eSIM, you will be able to use dual SIM cards. It means that the eSIM on Sony Xperia 10 VI allows you to immediately connect to another mobile operator without using a physical SIM card.
To activate your eSIM, you need a wireless service carrier which provides you an eSIM profile as well as data plans. eSIM data plans availability may vary depending on country and carrier. Ubigi is one of the carriers that support eSIM for the Sony Xperia 10 VI, in about 200 destinations, on the 5 continents.
The activation possibility of the eSIM feature might differ by country and/ or model version of the device. Ubigi is not responsible for this inconvenience.

It just works.
From start to finish the process is exactly as it says on the web site. Plus speeds are as reported. Would highly recommend this eSIM. I also find the app helpful I. Tracking your usage.

Connection was good
Connection was good. Should be more clear on the instructions for installation. Example: how to setup the Sim settings in Sim management on android phone.

Fair
It works fine, good coverage, and good speed ! And the most important : regarding Data usage I never have the feeling to be cheated (what is always the case with GSM providers like ComSwiss, esirnuS etc.) !!!

The service was easy to set-up
The service was easy to set-up, competitive pricing and large area of coverage. The only thing that I found irritating was that often I needed to restart my phone for the data to be active again

Works quite well
Works quite well. No issues once I activated. The only drawback is figuring out when and how to activate. Twice I have been dinged by my cell provider for a days charge. It is not clear where I can or should activate while in my mobile provider's area

Great Data plan rate options
Great Data plan rate options, but no notice about voice usage being unavailable unless using a specific app like WhatsApp.

Will recommend this to my friends who are going to Japan next year

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
