Does the Samsung Galaxy S22 series support eSIM (including S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra)?
All the new models from the Samsung Galaxy S22 series (S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra) released in 2022 are equipped with an eSIM.
Thanks to the eSIM, users will be able to use dual SIM cards. It means that the eSIM on Galaxy S22 models allows you to immediately connect to another mobile operator without using a physical SIM cards.
To activate your eSIM, you need a wireless service carrier which provides you an eSIM profile as well as data plans. eSIM data plans availability may vary depending on country and carrier. Ubigi is one of the carriers that support eSIM for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, in about 200 destinations, on the 5 continents.

Ohio coverage
It works all fine and easy, only point of concern is the network coverage level during my last trip in Ohio in the USA, there were a couple of area, where I was not able to use the data package, or on low speed.

We've been in Japan for a week now…
We've been in Japan for a week now travelling from Shibuya Tokyo all the way up North to Aomori & have had great service with no lags in speed or cutoffs.
Primarily Docomo or KDDI carrier service which seems to be the best networks for tthe areas we've been in.
Only had 1 minor issue so far but not sure if it was our phone or Ubigi where we had to uninstall and reinstall the app on one phone because the ESIM disappeared from it somehow.
Once we did that the ESIM popped up in our account again and we just had to install it back to that phone. No issues since then. This is super easy to use and set up it took about 3 minutes at the airport for each of the two phones we purchased esims for.
Way more convenient and actually getting faster speeds I think than the Wi-Fi router that we also rented from a different carrier. We haven't had any throttling or lagging issues because we did purchase the one off data amounts for each phone rather than choosing unlimited eSims and possibly getting throttled with over usage. Our phones work here just like they do while we're back home in the USA, and we can check IG, Facebook, watch YouTube videos, browse the internet from my phones normally and with no problems. Ubigi has been great for us here & will for whoever's reading this also. Just make sure the phones you want these eSims in or unlocked before you travel.
One of the best things I think with Ubigi is that once you create an account and purchase an ESIM you get a code instantly for a discount on the next ESIM which in our case was the second phone, and also that there is a 50% or half off if & when you may need to retop again for more data. It's super easy also you just go back into your app on that phone that you want to re-top and purchase it directly from there using either a 20% or 50% discount code. We will definitely be using Ubigi again and again in the future!!

Excelent
Excelent , I bought 25gb , more than enough for a 2 weeks travel . I used it for social media , Spotify, Maps , ChatGPT and twice for videocalls for work (about one hour each ) . I had very good Signal during my all trip , no micro cuts . I used it in Germany and Belgium . Much better than HolaFl…. 😅

How to check eSIM compatibility
Smartphones / Tablets:
Dial *#06#. → If an EID number appears, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Windows 10 / 11:
Press Windows+I. Go to “Network & Internet” → If you see "Cellular", your PC is eSIM-compatible.
How to check carrier unlocking
iPhone / iPad:
Go to Settings > General > About. Scroll to Carrier Lock. → If you see “No SIM restrictions”, your device is unlocked.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network. Disable Automatic network selection. → If multiple networks appear, your device is unlocked.
You already have an eSIM in your cart.
Each order can only include one eSIM data plan.
If you choose to add a new one, the current plan will be removed. What would you like to do?
